Naval Sword

Advanced Naval Weapon System

Naval Sword leverages the precision and lethality of the HERO Loitering Munitions as a force multiplier for naval operations effectiveness. Carried by naval vessels, these munitions provide a dynamic defense and strike capabilities, creating a protective dome around friendly vessels by detecting, tracking, and engaging incoming surface threats and remote land targets.

Naval Sword Utilizing HERO Loitering Munition

HERO Loitering Munitions mounted on Naval vessels counter USA swarm attacks and provide unique, selective precise strike capability against land and surface targets.

The Naval Sword solution offers a comprehensive, end-to-end weapon system designed to mitigate threats both near and beyond visual range. It integrates inputs from ship’s Command and Control system or surface search radar tracks. The Loitering Munition Fire Control System (LMFCS) receives target data, evaluates the threat, plans the mission and assigns it to the Loitering Munition (LM). The LMFCS then authorizes the LM launch from the Multiple Canister Launcher (LMMCL) and manages the Loitering munition via the Fire Control Unit (FCU).

Implementation & Integration

Naval forces need for versatile, adaptable, and rapidly deployable offensive capabilities to be addressed through the integration of HERO 120 and HERO 400 loitering munitions into a modular, containerized launch system. This concept proposes the development and deployment of a multi-launcher container that can house and launch both HERO 120 and HERO 400 munitions. This system would enhance the Navy’s ability to conduct precision strikes, provide overwatch, and engage targets from stand-off range with a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness in diverse maritime combat environments.

Strategic Advantage

Naval Sword’s minimal integration requirements allow for swift installation and deployment onboard, making it an ideal solution for enhancing the capabilities of Corvettes, OPVs, Frigates, Destroyers, and other High Value Naval Assets. Its autonomous nature provides both attack and defense layers that adapt quickly to demanding operational scenarios.
